NPA Achieves Historic Milestone in US Coast Guard ISPS Code Compliance and Maritime Reforms.

Monrovia, Liberia – The National Port Authority (NPA) has announced its unprecedented achievement in the latest United States Coast Guard (USCG) International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code compliance audit. The announcement marks the visit of the US Coast Guard ISPS Code Compliance team to Liberia. This remarkable success, the best in over seven years, underscores the unwavering commitment of the new NPA Management to strengthen port security, enhance operational efficiency, which aligns with international maritime standards.
This tremendous outstanding achievement of the new management leadership at the Freeport of Monrovia demonstrates its resilience and a renewed dedication to best global practices. The latest audit results reflect extensive reforms and strategic interventions aimed at positioning Liberia’s premier port as a secure and competitive hub for international trade.

Speaking at a brief meeting with the US Coast Guard ISPS Code Compliance team at the National Port Authority, NPA Managing Director Hon. Sekou A. M Dukuly said, “the milestone is a clear testament to the NPA’s steadfast pursuit of excellence in maritime security and operational reforms”. According to the NPA boss “the NPA is committed to ensuring that the Freeport of Monrovia remains internationally compliant, resilient, and a key driver of Liberia’s economic growth.”
